Labor Day might almost be here, but that doesn’t mean the outdoor music season is coming to a close! We are very excited to be participating in this year’s Pabst Blue Rendezvous, Saturday, September 12, 2009 in the Short North! Here’s all the info from PBR:
On Saturday, Sept. 12th we will be having a big fun party in the Fireproof Parking Lot (2nd Ave. & High St.) from 2-8PM! We’re calling it the Pabst Blue Rendezvous – and we hope you’ll meet us there for what is sure to be an amazing afternoon - celebrating music, art & community spirit.
We’ll have two stages rotating 12 bands; Eight local artists will be creating live art (inspired by PBR); independent vendors; games, raffles & surprises; food by Rad Dog and zPizza; and of course, ice-cold, delicious P B R ! ! !
It’s FREE to attend and all proceeds from beer sales will benefit the Columbus Music Co-Op and the Couchfire Collective – two local organizations that consistently do wonderful things for the art & music communities of Columbus.
Please consider alternative forms of transportation when making your way down to the Short North – Bike it or bus it! We’ll have a complimentary bike corral set-up and managed by Paradise Garage.
Besides the much-appreciated folks that have already been mentioned, a whole lot of thank you’s must go out to the following friends of PBR who also did their part in helping to make this event a reality: Bodega, Surly Girl Saloon, Central City Recording, Columbus Percussion, The Guitar Shoppe, Pi A/V, Wholly Craft, CD101-FM and The Other Paper. Merci beaucoup!! Merci beaucoup!!
