We are excited to announce our Spring workshop series in partnership with our friends at The Shelf. Located on the 4th floor of 57 Gay Street in downtown Columbus, The Shelf is a great art gallery/performance space/artists’ living space and we have two events there coming up in April!

7-9 p.m. @ The Shelf-Grants for Musicians - come learn about searching for and writing grants related to music. This workshop also covers the CMC’s grant program, The Columbus Musicians’ Assistance Program.

AND-before this workshop please join us for

Columbus Music Happy Hour @ Tip Top from 5-7 p.m.

Come on down and hang out at Tip Top as Erin and Jess from the CMC play all local music. Mingle with local musicians and learn more about the CMC!

7-9 p.m. -Legal Issues for Musicians with Tony Clark, Attorney and Co-founder of All Hail Records

Join us for a conversation about some basic legal issues musicians face, including trademark and copyright, pros and cons of becoming an LLC and internet licensing topics

Following this workshop, from 9-11, the CMC and the Shelf will also host live music. Line-up TBA.
